Worked for the UK-based company MyDeco ss a Visual Developer. My position consisted in working on server side rendering technologies and image processing, implementing low level services which are leveraged by different components through the site to provide added value to users and customers.
Technologies employed include, but are not limited to, Python, C, C++ and JavaScript, along with several libraries that help perform different tasks such as Twisted and MagickWand.

As a follow up for the previous position in UruIT, outsourcing development services for CoroWare, I engaged a new project which aimed to rebuild the previously developed application from scratch, leveraging a completely new ground-breaking architecture that provided the foundation for implementing a very modular robotics Simulation environment for our European customer.
The application was built entirely in the C++ programming language on Debian Linux, leveraging Qt 4, OpenGL and OpenSceneGraph to provide powerful 3D capabilities, flexibility and high modularity.

The technologies involved in the construction of this Software included Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Windows XP Professional, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, AJAX.NET and Codus.

In 2008 I was hired by UruIT, a very promising Uruguayan company, for an outsourcing job for the Robotics and Automation department of the Redmond-based company CoroWare Inc. My tasks consisted in developing a 3D visualization application for a very important European customer.
The application was built entirely in the C++ programming language on Debian Linux, leveraging Qt 4 and OpenGL to provide powerful 3D capabilities as well as a solid foundation for the development of a robust simulation environment.

Performed design and development tasks as the lead C++ developer, working on a clinical image analysis system.
Development tasks involved the design and implementation of a Windows-based software application which leveraged the wxWidgets framework to create a powerful but yet simple to use user interface.
The development process also involved the manipulation of an Sqlite database, report generation in PDF format and data export to MS Office Excel and OpenOffice.org
