I believe that at this time, there is a call to action. At Nonprofits Assistance Fund, it is our mission to help build financially healthy nonprofit organizations. Right now, there are many factors undermining our sector’s financial health and viability. Let’s take advantage of what we do have — tools that facilitate sharing information, as well as savvy and strategic thinkers working to sustain our sector. To that end, we are engaging in a number of social media initiatives to help nonprofits during this economically challenging time.

In my capacity as Marketing Coordinator my duties include:
• Ensuring that all communications suit our needs and audience, reflect our message, and are tied to our strategic goals.
• Crafting all our our print and online communications
• Maintaining our website and blogs (including blogging at Nonprofit Harvest and tweeting from @NAFund)
• Managing our online communities
• Outreach to clients and funders
• Managing media relations

Nonprofits Assistance Fund helps build financially healthy nonprofits. Our strategically essential and timely financial support facilitates sustainability, transformation, and success.

We are working to leverage our online and offline efforts to help nonprofits implement healthier financial practices and position themselves for a sustainable future. This work is especially critical at this moment.

We offer training and resources on nonprofit financial management; offer strategic financial guidance, including a Financial Needs Assessment; and provide loans that stabilize and transform organizations. On our website and in our blogs, we are building on our insights and experiences to help nonprofits manage and adapt in this challenging climate. As part of Minnesota’s nonprofit community, we are here as a partner and a peer.

We also provide loans that stabilize and transform organizations, offer strategic financial guidance, and work to encourage healthy financial practices.
