Andrew Schrock is a Ph.D student at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California.
Previously, he has been Assistant Director of the Annenberg Program on Online Communities (APOC) at USC, and part-time faculty. He received his B.A. from Brandeis University in Computer Science, and M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Central Florida. He has also taught in the Digital Media department of UCF and the Journalism department at CSU Long Beach. Recently, he performed research with danah boyd for the Internet Safety Task Force project, at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University. His research interests include online communities, Internet safety, and media convergence.
Mass media research, software engineering, product development, quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, music distribution, online social networking, web-based media and Internet culture.
