As a participant in Medill’s Washington Seminar, I tracked the Oregon delegation, the U.S. House and Senate and government and non-governmental organizations. I localized national breaking news for residents of Central Oregon on such topics as forest fires, nanotechnology, environmental concerns, obesity, the federal budget and campaign finances.
