Arwin Soelaksono has more than 15 years experience in managerial role in private company and International NGO. His experience encompasses the establishment of new products or new businesses development. These include setting up system, policy and protocol, human resource development and marketing strategy. Other experience that can be highlighted here is he has the capacity on managing the organization during difficult time, crises with challenging environment. It was during Asia economic crisis in 1998 and tsunami disaster response and recovery in Aceh, Indonesia during 2005-2009.

• Lead Construction Department to provide technical assistance, supervise Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to set up job package for contracting start from tender, awarding, project implementation including payment approval.

• Coordination with Human Resource Manager in staffing plan, recruiting, hiring, managing staff including promotion and ending employment. Other assignment in this field is staff capacity building.
• Through Operation Manager administer support for construction work such as procurement, logistic and warehouse, transportation and security.
• Communicate with other Save the Children sectors due to ensure continuity and consistency in reconstruction efforts including assist District Manager in formulating reconstruction strategies.

Designed, developed and implementing project management systems and methodologies for massive housing reconstruction in disaster area.
• Planning and budgeting for entire operations.
• Project monitoring and evaluation in terms of work quality and finance in budget versus actual realization.
• Set up construction job for direct implementation, contractors and suppliers. The set up encompasses TOR, job package, budgeting, bidding, awarding, monitoring and set up payment method.
• In Human and Resource function, responsible for the work of about 100 local and international staffs.
• Set up organization and its structure in 4 districts operation areas which completed construction of more than 4,300 permanent houses.
• Being part of senior management team in responding more than 5 audits and evaluation during the 2 years operation; including audit from PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Ernst&Young.
• Being part of senior leadership team in Asia Pacific area office (Bangkok) to determine 3 years achievement target and its business strategies.
• Disaster Response Task Force Asia Pacific office team member. Involved in team who forming manual, policies and protocols for disaster response.
