I spent some initial time, crucially streamlining the business plan and steadying it in the domestic staffing and recruiting domain; which was their mainstream source of revenue generation... till end 2008.
It was a question of survival of the fittest as the opportunities were dwindling by the hour.
The team dwindled and as there was little/no need for my expertise as such,for a handful of resources we did some rethinking and diversified.
I moved in into my core current skill set of RPO and got to kick start the RPO division with a small but dedicated team of recruiters in early 2009.
We did well here till July 2009,
Despite the recession we built a good business globally as most of my old clients decided to support my initiative kindheartedly.
There after, the lack of continuous opportunities, thanks to the extended recession, forced us to not to expand as per plan, as it made poor business sense, if we did.
We decided to hold back advancements on this front, till we get into better times, globally.
Retaining the current clients itself became a massive challenge as they were running short on their own businesses in their own territories and revenues as such were dwindling.
Time for moving on had arrived.
We moved on.
In Air Force parlance such wise moves are called " Live to fight-Yet another day."

I was authorized too and appointed, a team of recruiters and trained almost all of them to a level as defined in the SLA'S of customer(s).
Most of the training was developed in-house.
Later made the team undergo the AIRS training too.
I was successful in taking the business from say "n" dollars to n*3 in a short span of 01 Year.
I would train the customer on how to effectively use the ATS.Had the unique opportunity to define the recruiter retention strategy and also appraise the team.
Appraised them twice and rewarded them very generously.
