My professional experience is in the areas of Network Design, Management and Operation; Security, Telecommunications, Programming and Artificial Intelligence. I have 12 years experience working in challenging networking environments and with complex telecommunications projects. I have several years of experience as network manager, designer and engineer working with diverse technologies such as VoIP, Routing, LAN Switching, Wireless, Data Centres and Security. I am finishing my PhD in the Artificial Intelligence group in the University of York in the UK. My research is on Machine Learning and Autonomous Agents. Specifically I am researching the use of AI in computer networks to provide intelligent network management capabilities to network devices. Besides AI and security, I have some projects using Machine Learning in web technologies, data mining and search.
