Claudia Sandoval’s Summary
Claudia Sandoval is a Creative Director and Visual Artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY, a place where she has found an amazing place to constantly redefine inspiration and network with fellow designers and artists. Since 1996 she has been working with corporate and art related clients, having the privilege to meet highly creative people and work on diverse projects, such as identity design, editorial, art direction, photography, video and web design. Working as ARTPLUGSDESIGN, she aims to collaborate and work to build smart brands, reinvent company communications and partner up with her clients and collaborators to deliver real results, touch people's heart and promote a positive change.
During November of 2005 she founded along with Alfonso Nieto, ART BATTERY GROUP, a Brooklyn, NY based art collective. Through Art Battery Group they have showcased the work of 16 emerging artists and help to promote creative collaboration within the collective. In addition they are active bloggers on online art communities, promoting the work of many young artists during the last four years.
In September of 2008 she founded along with Andrea Lira y Victor Ruano, the Video Art collective UNCLASSIFED TIME. They aim to open new paths to promote creative collaboration between video artists. The collective is also looking to begin a discussion about video art, film and welcome experimental video approaches to be posted on their blog, promoting dialogue and interchange of ideas.
In July of 2009 she launched VIVA LA NETWORK, a creative alliance that gathers diverse and innovative perspectives, working on the areas of Design Consulting, Brand Identity, Web Development, Photography, Video, Sound Design and Emerging Art.
Outside of work she enjoys cooking, photography, traveling and movies.
