Annmarie Edwards’s Summary
Creative artist with over four years experience. I have sixteen years experience as an educator. In the past I have created materials for the business world. Now I am focusing on my artwork.
Creativity brings happiness in my life. I am at the juncture where I am choosing what makes me happy. Art is my God given gift and I am staying true to my passion in creating art that appeals to the human emotions. Art can be both provocative as well as inspiring.
My goal in life is to have an extraordinary experience everyday and be that extraordinary person in helping others fulfill their dreams. My artwork is dedicated to women cause around the world. Helping poor women is my passion. I am dedicated to finding time to work on my passion in eliminating world poverty.
According to the 2007 U.S Census Bureau report 37.3 million people live in poverty. Of this figure 22.2% were women. There has been an increase in the poverty rate for children under 18 years old 18 % which translate to 13. 3 millions.
Research has shown that when women are educated and are able to provide for their families the poverty rate goes down tremendously. The poverty rate in the U.S is staggering seeing it is a developed country. There is something that each of us can do and should do.
My mission is to raise the consciousness of people globally to stop poverty in its track where each global community pay it forward by helping someone in need. Good Luck! The time to act is now. Begin your good deed today.
