Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA, Adam Rosenberg has a background in public affairs, campaign politics and music.
Affectionately known as "Berg" to his friends and colleagues, Adam is currently the New Media Manager at Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) where he directs the organizations online communications and advocacy efforts.
Prior to joining CDT, Adam was a Manager in APCO Worldwide's Washington, D.C. office. He worked across practice groups on a variety of projects including public affairs, online and grassroots communications, media relations, social marketing and media, message development and issue advocacy campaigns for non-profit and corporate clients. Prior to joining APCO, Adam worked as a campaign staffer and consultant with an expertise in fundraising and communications strategy for a number of political candidates across the country including Governor Martin O'Malley (D-MD), Congressman Tim Walz (D-MN), Congressman Dan Maffei (D-NY), Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin (D-SD), and Congressman Richard Gephardt (D-MO).
Adam founded DCene, a promotions company focused on online organizing for networking events, concerts and fundraisers. He manages DCene completely independent of his public affairs work.
He graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in Environmental Public Policy and Political Science from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Citizenship. He received his Masters in Political Management from George Washington University.
In his spare time, Adam blogs about music, sports and politics. He is an active volunteer, speaker and fundraiser for progressive candidates and causes and plays lead guitar and sings for the band, "Bonjour, Ganesh!"
