As a "thermographer" I make warmth visable by creating infrared images and videoclips. Thermography shows warmth and cold in various colors and can be used in many disciplines like: architecture, productdesign, innovation, educational, R&D, exhibitions and graphic design. Making warmth visable can help save energy and learn about biology, physics and thermoregulation. The backbone of the collection are infrared images of animals. New collections are about e.g. biomimicry, C2C, shops, composting, waste, supermarkets and automotive.
Besides this I'm developing the Nutscode, which is about benchmarking energybills. The key-question is, how long does a household has to work top pay for it's total annual energybill? The global average is about one month. It makes an interesting energy efficiëncy index, which can be used in different countries.
The connection between the two topics is that the biggest part of our energybill is related to our thermoregulating choices, habbits and routines.
The recently started project called "trees for grannies" is about thermoregulation as well. It has a focus on shadetrees and greenery in the neighbourhood of senior homes.

The infrared images of animals brougt me back to school again, learning biology from a new perspective; how animals are adapted to warm and cold climates.
