Arne Hessenbruch is a full time networker and believes in listening attentively to his partners and in working with them to come up with ways to help their needs and concerns. He believes that opportunities come out of such listening encounters.
He wants to connect people to each other and to useful resources - be it European companies looking to establish themselves in the Boston area, or clients looking for financial advice.
Arne has a PhD in history of science from Cambridge University in England, and has conducted research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), at Harvard University, and at several universities in Europe. He still teaches one course a year at MIT on how to bring new technology to the market.
Arne has three children, born in 1989, 1993, and 2006. He resides in Arlington, Massachusetts, where he is a Director of the Historical Society.
Arne grew up in Denmark. He is the New England representative of Danes Worldwide, the Boston City Manager of Danes Abroad Business Group Online, and a Connector for Boston World Partnerships. He has lived in half a dozen different countries and speaks many languages. He is also an avid reader, plays as much soccer as he can get away with, especially in the aptly named Over The Hill Soccer League, and at times he loses himself in the intricacies of chess.
Arne’s overarching interest is the human condition and he delights in really trying to understand his clients.
Connecting dots, introducing people, financial services.
