Kansas has embarked on a "Public/Private Partnership" which uses private, not-for-profit agencies such as TFI Family Services to administer contracts for providing the necessary out-of-home services.
In fulfillment of the contract, the Family Permanency Division of TFI Family Services provides the staff and programs necessary to meet the Kansas SRS contract outcomes for the foster care and reintegration contract in 25 counties of southeast and south central Kansas. Our services are provided through Family Permanency Teams, made up of a licensed Permanency Worker and a Family Support Worker to assure that a wide array of services are available and accessible to the children and their parents/family members once a child has been referred to our agency through the contract.

Airway management is a number-one skill needed by a respiratory therapist as well as vascular access for intravenous lines (IV), an arterial line or arterial blood gas (ABG).
RTs are specially trained in helping in the operating room (OR), high-risk deliveries, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), chest tube and central line insertion. RTs may also provide an important role in the homecare environment. Here the RT's role is different from the hospital role in that there are not a lot of available technical resources available. One must rely more on clinical assessments and experience-related decision-making when evaluating the patient's current condition. This is where the real extent of the RT's knowledge is truly tested.

Doctor of Divinity (D.D., Divinitatis Doctor in Latin) is an advanced academic degree in divinity. Divinity is the study of Christian and other theology and religious ministry at a school, divinity school, university, or seminary. The term is sometimes a synonym for theology as an academic, speculative pursuit, and sometimes is used for the study of applied theology and ministry to make a distinction between that and academic theology. It most often refers to Christian study which is linked with the professional degrees for ordained ministry or related work, though it is also used in an academic setting by other faith traditions.
