A lot of my time is spent helping worldwide engineers in the field with deep technical specialist questions.
I give straight and understandable answers and always thrive to the highest standard of quality.
A significant amount of my time is spent thinking of how I can improve the services my department is providing to make us even more efficient.

ARM website is totally changing to be more user friendly and more to the point.
In this role, I keep all actions and interact with all parties to ensure project progress. I also define content and advise on ergonomy.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, I have daily contacts with business units as well as the graphics and web development team.
My previous web development experience as well as organisation skills allow me to set achievable goals. Furthermore, very tight deadlines and taking the project on the run really help developping my project leading skills.
I do not deal with the budget of the project.
This role is in addition to the partnership responsibilities I also carry out daily.

I joined ARM as a Technical Marketer to look after ARM Connected Community in EMEA and India.
As only technical person in a small dynamic department with substantial knowledge in both electronics and web development, I am also involved in our online presence on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other media to come.
Other main activities include looking at all the new great electronics products and show how the ARM Connected Community successfully participated to them...You'd be surprised by where ARM is.
Furthermore, I am now working on the Web Strategy of the company, trying to get it more user friendly and bringing pertinent information to our visitors.

In Vehicle Networks (IVN) specialist.
I was the worldwide contact for all applications technical support enquiries for In-Vehicle Network (IVN) transceivers (CAN, LIN & FlexRay) addressing FAE & customers wonders with technical explanations, bench measurements... I also implemented the new technical support and documentation processes and was their knowledge champion for the automotive business unit. Responsible for all transceivers datasheet, all other public (Application Notes) and PPAP supporting (Conformance certification, EMC tests...) documentation, I was reviewing these for correctness before promoting them.(from µc, firmware, hardware, protocols, physical layer).
Following delighting appraisals, I was let go for economical reasons.

I integrated the use of Siebel CRM in the department and I managed enquiries for applications support covering EMEA-AP. Interface between Quality department and Customer Support Management, my general work additionally went from new microcontroller evaluation to provide support to our FAEs. Evaluation included EMC performance with design of the TEM Cell boards, result interpretation and customer advice. My expertise was in Serial/Packet protocols (CAN, LIN, I²C...), PLL tuning and clock generation, PCB layout for mixed signals and troubleshooting (hardware/software).
I validated 5 NPI (new product line introduction) before mass production, I created ROM code automated testing software (first S12 ROM of the company and an 8-bit microcontroller) used as reference for test and Application validation including C/C++ header files creation, module-cycling to test their interaction and errata/bug fix verification or discovery, customer errata wording and customer communication presentations.

Finally, I led and managed the introduction of Freescale Communities, an online Forum that support all our Customers worldwide, not only doing contribution to technical subjects and moderating threads but also implementing new features and answering all customer technical inquiries which were critical to Freescale image and customer experience. There were 9000+ members when I passed the project over and growing by over 300 members monthly.
This was a great opportunity for me to show project leading skills and dedication to work well done.

I had to design and program a Borland C++ Builder application to test Digital TV broadcasting equipment.
The software I wrote changes (via TCP/IP network) broadcast system configurations (MPEG encoders, switching grid, MUX...) and extracts every single field in tables and descriptors from a Transport Stream (acquisition board or file). It then compares data with expected stream and generates reports in different formats (.txt, .xls, graph...). This tool is now used to validate each new software version (new features and compatibility with old ones).

Electrical Validation for 2 Tramway lines of Lyon (France).
High Voltage (20kVAC down to 750VDC), Safety Assurance (Tag out)...
The company had to provide new tramway lines with electricity. (high and low power supply: 20kV, 750V, 220V…). Worked with the Quality Control team, checking all installations before switching them on. Learnt to be very diligent as any short-circuit would have meant an explosion and death of workers…
