Scott Miller’s Summary

I have been very successful over the last few years in Information Technology team leadership, business analysis, and project management. Leading virtual teams in multiple locations throughout North America, while managing communication, expectations, and risk.

I know what IT means to the business. My MBA provided the business tools to be able to work with organizations and teams of business sponsors to refine business processes so that those project stakeholders could truly benefit from the project or organizational initiative being implemented. After all, customer satisfaction is a true test of a successful project, whether in Information Technology or in business itself.

I personally have a passion for business process redesign. What is the strategy of the business and how does IT, and the current initiative, align with that strategy? Does the system and software satisfy the customer? Does it match what it was originally intended for?

Software craftsmanship and the design and development of software. I'm not talking about the mundane activity of software coding, but rather the architecture: the design and layout of the business processes and business rules, UML and class diagrams.
