Training & Organizational Development Manager at Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Portland, Oregon Area
Over 10 years of experience working for the Federal Reserve’s financial services function. I have had the unique opportunity to serve in both the national Cash Product Office and the Retail Payments Office. Working at various levels within the organization, I ensure that all staff performance initiatives are supportive of the organizational objectives of The Bank.
From an organizational perspective, I am well equipped to offer solutions that take into account various constraints such as time, budget and resources. From a training perspective, I have a strong understanding of the various training solutions that are most effective for a given objective. To this end, my solutions are often varied, but always successful.
My work often extends to areas beyond training. This is particularly true when analysis reveals that a solution other than training is more effective. Through my analysis I have successfully advocated for software enhancements or reworking of operational processes where appropriate – saving countless hours which may otherwise have been spent applying the wrong solution to the objective.
In my position I also chair a system-wide workgroup which periodically reviews training and procedural issues, and develops proposals that increase workplace performance.
As part of my life-long interest in learning, I am completing my Masters in Education to complement my Bachelors in Information Technology. Having strengths in both of these areas allows me to leverage technology in solutions which are also rooted in a deeper understanding of the adult learning process.
