The Natural Perfumers Guild is a trade organization and an international community of people who create natural perfumes and scented products from essential oils, absolutes, concretes and resins. We welcome everyone from professional perfumers to scent enthusiasts, aestheticians, cosmetic makers, soapmakers, and vendors of natural scent products.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose is to gather and strengthen our existing community, increase public awareness and education about pure and natural perfumes, and establish standards of excellence in perfumery.
The artisanal focus is very real. We create perfumes by hand, with attention to the botanical sources and the alchemy that is the soul of the artist. An Artisan Natural Perfumer will have standards of creation and exploration that demand excellence of product and lifelong commitment to the art and craft of natural perfumery.
Anya McCoy’s Specialties:
As a perfumer with 15+ years experience I promote the industry by advocating the use of natural aromatics and educating the public as to what a true natural perfume is. We have also created a Position Paper defining what a natural perfume is in response to any organization that attempts to allow synthetics in a natural perfume.
In addition, my brand includes teaching an online natural perfumery class, consulting to the natural perfume industry, and mentoring others in the art.

The Natural Perfumers Guild is dedicated to the fostering of the art of natural perfumery through education, legislative efforts and networking among members. The public demands a new paradigm in perfumery, one that gives them the option of obtaining quality perfumes made only with pure and natural aromatics.
Our Guild is a consortium of international perfumers, associates, suppliers and enthusiasts. Founded by Mandy Aftel, author of Essence and Alchemy, the Guild is now under the ownership of Anya McCoy of Anya's Garden of Natural Perfume. -

Artisan perfumer, educator and consultant to the industry. I create perfumes using only botanical and natural essences for sale online and in selected stores.
Begun in October, 2007, the online natural perfumery course I teach is a unique learning experience, offering students worldwide the ability to learn basic perfumery techniques. The monthly modules carry the student through a logical sequence of learning experiences. There are monthly live chats with me to allow the student to refine their studies and progress to the next level of expertise.
Consultation to the industry includes private label, custom perfumery and environmental fragrancing. -
