Jazz Saxophonist, Bandleader, Composer, Recording Artist
San Francisco Bay Area
I'm a jazz saxophonist. I compose & perform jazz music, record CDs and tour nationally, performing in clubs, concert halls, jazz festivals and the like. I also perform live jazz for fine corporate and private events in Northern California and beyond. My rather unusual background: I began playing music at a young age but got my BA in Math & Philosophy at Harvard and did five years of a Ph.D. at Stanford in Artificial Intelligence before I made the switch to be a full time musician.
