Responsible for a team consisting of developers, designers and copywriters to create a first-class website and intranet for the largest privately-owned automotive group in the Midlands. Encouraging and evangelising the use of web standards, open formats and platforms and excellent user experiences.
Working with the group buying department, I created a centralised purchasing system which has saved the company millions of pounds on an annual basis.
Developed CarCast, a "technology playground" for new services, features and ideas for the used car industry, working with industry partners to design and create a low-cost, highly available platform for the remarketing of used cars online.
Also responsible for the in-house intranet, Listers Desktop, which features a number of tools which - by bringing information from various other systems, distilling essential information and presenting key performance indicators - enhances productivity, communication and help to save time and money whilst enabling employees across the group to achieve their core goals of selling more cars, parts and hours of labour.

Following the transition from i Web to OneToo, I was initially focused on client projects. Shortly afterwards, OneToo moved into the mobile commerce area, supplying solutions to mobile entertainment providers. I created a managed extranet for SMS applications and content management.
I was also tasked with the design and architecture of a new platform for the creation, management, billing and delivery of mobile content; responsible for a team of 5 developers who developed the platform - using C#, SQL Server, IIS, wap and SMS technologies.
