Anthony Noto is the Chief Financial Officer of the National Football League overseeing league-wide finance and strategy functions, including corporate development, labor finance, operational finance plus accounting, tax and treasury
Prior to joining the NFL Anthony Noto was the Internet, Entertainment, and Cable analyst at Goldman Sachs and Business Unit Leader for the Communications, Media and Entertainment Research Team. Anthony joined Goldman Sachs in 1999, becoming Managing Director in 2003 and Partner in 2004. Anthony received broad recognition for his in-depth coverage of the Internet and Entertainment sectors. Starting in his first year in covering the Internet group in 2000, Anthony was a top ranked analyst in the annual Institutional Investor poll and Greenwich Survey, while achieving the #1 ranking from 2003 until his last year as analyst in 2007. Additionally after his first year in assuming coverage of the Entertainment sector Anthony was ranked as a Runner-up in the 2004 Institutional Investor poll and moved up the ranking becoming the #3 ranked Entertainment Analyst in the 2006 Institutional Investor poll.
Anthony joined Goldman Sachs from another Wall Street brokerage firm where he was part of the Institutional Investor All-American Team covering the Broadline Retailing Sector.
Prior to transitioning to equity research, Anthony was a Brand Manager at Kraft Foods, Incorporated and a Captain in the United States Army as a Telecommunications Officer.
Anthony was a US Army Ranger, an All-East and Academic All-American Football Player, and the number-one graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy. Anthony also received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
