I am a City Commissioner, community activist, law professor, and lawyer in South Florida. I reside in Oakland Park, Florida with my husband of 6 years, Waymon Hudson. I currently serve the great city of Oakland Park as a City Commissioner (March 2009).
I am a professor and administrator at the law center at Nova Southeastern University, where I direct and teach in the Lawyering Skills & Values Program. I also teaches employment discrimination law, labor law, and current constitutional issues in the law.
I was a member of the 2006 class of the Oakland Park Local Government Academy, and has been an active participant in the community.
