Massage Therapist, Stress Management Specialist, Health and Wellness Consultant
Cincinnati Area
My mission is to help busy people like you slow down, take care of themselves and stay healthy through massage therapy. You will be cared for! As your massage therapist, I will work closely with you to improve your health and maintain your wellness. Whether you seek massage therapy to manage a specific medical condition or you recognize massage as a preventative health practice, I look forward to working with you!
Prior to earning my massage-therapy license in January 2002, I earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and worked in corporate communications in Chicago and as a magazine editor in Cincinnati. I experienced first-hand the rigors of the corporate world, and I turned to bodywork to support my health and help me cope with stress. Therapeutic massage made such a powerful difference in my life, I wanted to help others discover its healing powers!
My quiet, comfortable massage office is conveniently located 10 minutes east of Downtown Cincinnati in an office-condomininum development (completed Fall 2007), at the base of Mt. Washington, just off the Beechmont Levee. You can escape the "real world" as soon as you enter this private, peaceful space. Leave your worries behind as you devote time to caring for yourself, body and soul.
I am licensed by The State Medical Board of Ohio with additional training in integrative myoneural therapy, lymphatic drainage, muscle-energy techniques and positional-release therapy (a gentle type of deep-tissue massage). My massage training is from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio.
