Annie Lin is a results-driven creative professional with proven business acumen, entrepreneurial drive and negotiation skills, specializing in music and media licensing, rights and clearances for film, television, advertising and online media.
As the Director of Creative Licensing at The Orchard, she was instrumental in building, launching and leading the company's synchronization licensing unit. She has placed music in numerous films, television shows, advertisements and web productions. Annie is also credited for work in music supervision and licensing on films including Half-Life (Fade To Blue Productions), Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment) and Down The Barrel (ESPN Original Entertainment). Her experience also includes work with Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Citysearch and the Texas civil courts. Before her career as a music professional, she spent several years on the road as a performing singer-songwriter and self-released three albums.
Annie studied intellectual property and entertainment law and holds a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.A. from Rice University. She is currently the Director of Licensing at The Rights Workshop.
