I am a freelance web designer and consultant, most recently focusing on customization of the WordPress platform and the use of social networking tools.

I have over fourteen years experience participating and managing online communities and have been creating web content for over thirteen years. I've spoken on topics such as social networking, blogging, and how to use the internet to more fully connect to family and friends via social networking. I offer a friendly overview that helps people feel more comfortable with new technologies.

I co-produce & co-host the podcast Push My Follow which can be found at http://pushmyfollow.com. The show is a friendly, fun conversation about social networking, social media, and surrounding topics.

I also produce the podcast Basement Vinyl with my husband and fellow music fan Patrick.

I “off-ramped” years ago to raise my kids. When I had a rare free moment during the time I was out of the paid work-force, I kept busy volunteering, and taught myself web design. What began has a hobby has developed into a career I love.

I'm interested in opportunities that might take my interests and experiences in new directions!
