My world bounces back and forth between technology and finance. I'd say that is all, but it's not . . .
I have no problem taking charge of tough, impossible organizations or situations and have consistently performed over the years regardless of the dysfunction level of the environment I'm put into. Got a problem "child" project that nobody can finish? Call me.
I hate to be nailed down to one "type" of project management, because I like to learn and try new things. I leverage my experience from working at seven different Fortune 100s over the years, plus lots of famous FAMOUS high-visibility companies to boot. This experience gives me the unique ability to know when to use different management styles, methodologies, strategies, etc.
I'm very good at learning new tools and exploiting them to make big huge teams get stuff done on time. I'm considered a chameleon and a Jean-Luc Picard because I am adaptable and very diplomatic. Small teams are overrated and I don't like them. And yes I'm watching you. Double take. You can usually find me near a water cooler where technology, finance, or any combo of the two are involved, telling people to get back to work.
I get paid to talk, because usually what I have to say helps organizations perform better, or at least helps them figure out what they're doing so they can see/decide where to make changes in order to lessen or avoid risks and liabilities. Seriously, if other people would simply just know how to do their job, and would just do it, I wouldn't have a job!
