Angela Shelton first brought her life to the screen with the award-winning movie, “Tumbleweeds” that she co-wrote based on her first novel. For her directing debut, Angela traveled the United States interviewing other Angela Sheltons for her documentary “Searching for Angela Shelton.” She discovered that 70% had been victims of rape, childhood sexual abuse and/or domestic violence. Her discovery propelled her into a life of teaching trauma and recovery while continuing to write and act. Angela now speaks to audiences worldwide about unity, healing, and living joyful lives in the face of violence.
Angela Shelton is also a superhero. She plays Safe Side Superchick in The Safe Side series created by Baby Einstein creator, Julie Clark, and America’s Most Wanted creator, John Walsh.
Angela’s memoir, Finding Angela Shelton, through the Meredith Publishing Company, is in stores now.
