Angela Minicuci’s Summary
This fall, I am in my final semester at Michigan State University. I am working on a Communication degree and specializing in Public Relations. Thus far, MSU and especially the School of Communication Arts and Sciences has provided me with many opportunities to research and lead in the Communication field.
I am currently the Arts and Culture Intern and a student writer for Media Communications, University Relations at Michigan State University. I recently finished a Communication internship at the Lansing non-profit, Old Town Commercial Association. I am the current Vice President of Public Relations for the Ned S. Hubbell MSU chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America for the 09-10 academic year and last year was the Webmaster. The summer of 2008 I worked on giving our Web site a complete redesign and new host site. I hope to show the professionalism our chapter displays throughout our site and events as well as maintain it to fit the rapidly evolving online atmosphere.
The beginning of the summer of 2009, I studied abroad in Italy and France with the MSU Advertising and Public Relations program. I learned all about international advertising and found that much of what I learned can be applied to any variety of subgroups in every culture.
I will be graduating early in December 2009. Once I graduate from Michigan State University, I hope to attain a career in Lansing, Mich. where I can leave a positive legacy in both my community and the industry.
