He also holds patents for inventions that improve the safety of nuclear reactors.

Andy cherishes his time with family and friends. He invests himself in his community as well. He attends Baylight Church in Mountain View. He is a past-President of the University of Michigan Business School Alumni Club (San Francisco Bay Area). He has also volunteered as an Economics teacher in public schools through Junior Achievement. And, he completed Outward Bound on Hurricane Island in Maine. He recently spearheaded a grassroots Hurricane Katrina Relief project. Andy is a native San Franciscan and has lived in the Bay Area for most of his life.
