Working as a solutions architect at Hewlett Packard Andrew works with clients accross industry and public sectors to drive the success of ECM ventures using Microsoft technologies, specifically Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Previously employed by Getronics initially as a developer/analyst in Jan 99 Andrew has progressed a long way quickly and has adapted to successfully fulfil a number of roles. Without exception his engagements either in a project, partner or consultancy capacity have had resounding success and many of these successes have lead to additional business wins.
Gathering requirements, architecting and delivering solutions, engaging in a specialist or advisory capacity, his role is pivotal in the successful implementation of solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies. Andrew engenders support and adds significant credibility within the teams he works in and leads. He works closely with clientsabd has adopted a strong position in general Portal and Document Management fields, specialising in Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and has recently been involved with the 2007 Microsoft Office SharePoint Server product which has undergone significant change from previous releases. Andrew is a trained presenter and facilitator with extensive experience in the running of workshops, focus groups and seminar sessions for client teams.
Finally a technical consultant within the application services business area, his responsibilities focus on customer engagement, technical and strategic awareness, architecting, designing and developing complex solutions. In many cases the strategic transition of the company has necessitated the mentoring of junior members of a team and those retraining to new areas, this is a role in which Andrew is comfortable and is naturally talented to excel in.
