I am a determined technical professional whom has worked within the public sector for a number of years. Recently I was awarded Microsoft's MVP in Exchange and Messaging solutions for my work in the wider technical community.
I am driven and focussed with a proven track record in the design, sourcing and implementation of large scale technical projects. My main experience is within the Microsoft arena - in particular Active Directory and Exchange server, however I have solid experience of SQL, MOM / SCOM, SharePoint (Design and deployment), SMS, Windows 200x (including 2008) and many other Microsoft offerings. I have also worked in depth with many enterprise class storage solutions (HP and IBM) and have a good understanding of Enterprise grade Unix platforms. During my career I have deployed Exchange and Active Directory to over 120,000 seats (combined) and seen through countess technical implementations in other fields.
I like to think that I have a “get the job done” mentality and have the ability to motivate the people whom I manage via my own enthusiasm for the technical that we bring to the business.

  Working as head of the back office support group, supporting 4900 system users. It is a very diverse technical infrastructure making use of technologies such as Oracle, VMWARE, Cisco, Citrix, and IBM to name a few.
  My personal work within the team (apart from the day to day management) includes being the lead in Active Directory, Exchange Server, ISA Server, SQL Server and server side scripting. I also serve as the last point of support for Windows based issues and support. Since my return to the company after a brief stint with another organisation, I have been focussing more on the development and Implementation of key projects for the Organisation for example the installation of Blue Coat / Finjin, a large upgrade to the companies TSM infrastructure and working through the replacement of out IBM PSeries AIX platform.

  I still provide support to .:ENOW (Microsoft Gold Partner) on an "ad hoc" basis. Essentially I provide technical advice to both ENOW's consulting and developments teams in regard to Exchange Server (2007). The work is exceptionally varied but in the main surrounds providing insight for the program group whom develop Mailscape (ENOW's flagship Exchange monitoring product) on varying aspects of Exchange 2007 works. I have also provided support to ENOW on a number of large Exchange 2007 technical engagements that they have had (for example support for Hosting platforms and designs for new roll outs for companies of 3000 + seats)
