After a degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, Andy went to work for Accenture, working in a variety of project management roles for their biggest outsourcing clients in the UK. However, his first love remained making things look good and work properly.
He reignited his interest in web design in 2005, undertaking projects in his spare time, working from the many hotel rooms that Accenture left him in. In April 2006 he left Accenture to pursue web design full time in a freelance capacity.
He has an excellent understanding of XHTML and CSS. His work has included forays into PHP, database design and a variety of content management systems. More recently he has ventured into the world of Ruby on Rails at which he is becoming increasingly competent.
In 2007, Andy & Jo moved to Singapore from where he continues to work both back into the UK and on his own projects.

Part of a European project team of outsourcing specialists, providing sales, transition and delivery expertise to large scale outsourcing programmes.
I led communication teams on several large engagements. Activities involved preparation of standard transfer documents for an large (500+) person organisations, advising management teams on structure and content of all communication materials and ongoing internal and external communication strategy.
Led a KT planning team, involving analysis and planning of KT into European and Indian centres to achieve required cost reductions. Then led a workstream within the KT activity to execute the transfer of work from multiple locations in the UK.
My work also included significant experience in contractual, transition of employment and sales teams (including RFP support and bids for new work).
Clients included BT, Barclays Bank and the NHS. In many cases I had exposure to C-Level executives.
