Andy Corley’s Summary

Ever since I was 14 I've loved playing with computers. And that naturally led (by God's grace!) to considering how computer programming might be used in missions.

So after a Bible College degree, getting married, and four years writing software professionally, Kristi and I started considering specific ways that I could use computer technology to help speed the Great Commission (and how she could support those efforts and raise three wonderful kids to be world-changers, too).

So to make a long story short, we followed a lead and went on a 10-day trip to Malaysia to check out an opportunity with Frontiers. And while we were there, God clearly led both Kristi and I to begin considering work with New Tribes Mission at the home office in Florida. Two months later we were in Florida meeting with technology leaders in missions and knew that's exactly where God wanted us to give our lives.

Specifically, I'm the lead web programmer (www.ntm.org), a part of the leadership in NTM's Communications Department, and most recently the newest member of NTM's team of spokespersons (for communicating with the news media and public outlets in times of crisis).

It's been an incredible joy for seven years now to see tribal people being reached with the Gospel (in their own mother tongue and culture) -- to know that we are joining God at the core of what He is doing globally -- and to know that our work is making a big difference in reaching every tribe, tongue and nation with His unfailing love.
