More and more digital media is now 'platform traded' across auction model markets. Search has operated in this way for some time, but next generation media exchange platforms (AdX2.0, OpenX, AdECN and Right Media) are bringing a similar revolution to the digital display market. The skills, technology and infrastructure required to deliver value to advertisers in this new landscape, are very different to those typically possessed by media agencies. It's no longer about being bigger and being able to bulk buy cheaper than anyone else. It's about being able to make valuation, procurement, and optimisation decisions on individual impressions in real time. This requires a combination of Media, Data and Technology 'DNA', which few existing agency businesses have.
Having spent 13 years at large agencies and holding groups, we figured it would be easier and quicker (and more fun) to build a new proposition and infrastructure from scratch. So with Infectious, we've purpose built our infrastructure and service offering for the new platform based digital media ecosystem.
We work with Advertisers and their Agencies to help them achieve their goals efficiently through the smart use of the right data.
