People & Sports-Motion Photography.
When not pretending to be a rock star, astronaut or brain surgeon, photographer Andy Batt enjoys pursuing his real job. From drums to donuts, he finds an edge to everything he shoots. His clients refer to his work as 'movie magic moments'. He refers to his work as that stuff he loves to do.
Andy Batt is a nationally published photographer who loves what he does and loves where he lives. He writes: "I moved here in 1994 and have no plans on leaving. Portland is a great place to be. I can get on a plane and work wherever my clients need me, whether it's Seattle or Rio de Janeiro."

His photography is varied, but centers around quirky lifestyle work with real people, actors and models, and moody sports action photography of athletes and dancers. Andy graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1992 with a BFA in photography, and has been in the commercial photography world ever since. Andy's partner Therese is his producer, and an accomplished fine art photographer and bookbinder. Their studio, andyBATTstudio, is about to celebrate it's 10th year in business.
