Time For Marriage

2008Present (6 years)

Renewed and strengthened marriages. That is the experience of many couples who have been on Time for Marriage weekends over the years. And that is our vision and our passion. We believe that when marriages are renewed, families are strengthened, and ultimately society can be transformed.
Time for Marriage are a network of couples from many different denominations and backgrounds who believe in being authentic, vulnerable and full of faith for our marriages. We believe in God’s plan for renewed marriages, and we pray that God will transform marriages and families in the UK and beyond. We are committed to being part of the answer to that prayer.
We aim to be a resource to the church – a network of like-minded people that work with other individuals and organisations who share our ethos and aims. We also work hard to make sure we are professionally run, biblically based, well trained, and accountable in our own lives. We believe that we are living the message, and our personal stories and marriage journeys are integral to the message of hope and renewal that we share.
We are best known for our weekends away, where couples can slow the pace, reconnect and focus on their marriage. You can find out more about those on our web site.
But we are also involved in other initiatives. We encourage prayer in marriage through www.when2pray.net and are actively involved in Marriage Week, as well with having strong relationships with other organisations promoting healthy marriage.

Chairman

Hampshire Christian Business Forum

March 2010Present (4 years 7 months) Hampshire

The workplace is where most people spend most of their time, it’s the place where we interact with many different people, it’s where we can all make a difference.

A group of Hampshire business people share the same passion, to ensure that no one stands alone in the workplace. That’s why we have created the Hampshire Business Forum so that people in both public and private sector environments can meet together to be equipped, encouraged, inspired and resourced. We will be holding Breakfasts that will enable people in the workplace to meet together and listen to a top quality business leader as well as developing networks that support and challenge.

The workplace can be a very tough place. We hope that by connecting people from all levels of diverse organisations and providing opportunities to meet together then everyone can feel supported. We want to challenge and build relationships as well as enabling mutual benefit to grow as networks are developed.

We want to promote and encourage clear values so that everyone in the workplace can build a foundation that will lead to strong, healthy people, strong, healthy families and strong, healthy businesses. We want to provide help and support to everyone in their working environment so that every aspect of life – physical, spiritual, emotional, relational – is enhanced and together we can work with integrity, honesty, passion and perseverance in everything we do.

We hope that you will take the opportunity to check out the forum, get involved in the discussion and watch out for events that will inspire and encourage you. Together we can start a conversation and a journey that will impact not only our business life but our whole life as we seek to live and work in such a way that we see transformed individuals, families, workplaces and whole communities.
