Director, SharePoint Business Consultant
Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom
The founder of WorkShares, (www.workshares.co.uk), producing collaborative solutions for our clients utilising Microsoft SharePoint and associated collaborative technologies.
Over the last 8 years, I have gained 'grass roots' level experience in the design, build, delivery and support of Microsoft Enterprise Content Management based solutions to a wide range of business sectors.
I am an experienced SharePoint Project Manager/Consultant, having also worked for a Tier 1 consultancy in London in the past and several Microsoft Gold Partners both here and abroad.
I am also Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for WSS and MOSS 2007. What differentiates me from others in this industry is the experience of working on in excess of 100 SharePoint deployments since the SharePoint platform was released in 2001.
As a SharePoint veteran, I am able to bring to the decision making process knowledge and experience of what works well and crucially, not so well with the product features you are considering deploying.
Combined with consulting background this allows me to bring a mature approach to helping organisations identify and implement only the most beneficial features of the Microsoft SharePoint that deliver value for money.
I am looking to further develop and build upon WorkShares early successes and continue my own professional growth through working with existing and new clients, helping them further and develop their own businesses.
My current focus revolves around helping a global insurance organisation move its existing intrant(s) and associated applications on to a Microsoft Online based SharePoint and OCS environment for its 60,000 users.
