I have been in private practice as of 2001 as Associate and Director of Environmental Services at Loiederman Soltesz Associates, Inc. and subsequently a consultant and project developer. Previously, I completed 18 years of service at the state Maryland Department of the Environment as a manager successfully leading major new initiatives to regulate and restore water resources.

I have also established an accomplished independent consultancy for donor programs and by membership on several industry Commissions and Committees, presenter at industry and continuing education seminars and expert witness and media interviews. I co-authored books and published numerous magazine articles and technical features.

Additionally, expanded technical writing aspects and skills successfully into freelance environmental and travel journalism.
