Global Practice Management System based upon; Oracle e-Business Suite Financials and Keystone Professional. These are implemented using Oracle's three-tier Network Computing Architecture (NCA) and integrated using the Oracle Applications Interconnect (OAI) messaging system.
GPMS is a 24/7 system and will service over 7000 users in 27 offices. The infrastructure is a vital part of GPMS and HP servers are used to provide a scalable, resilient and high performance platform.
There are some 24 clustered PA-RISC servers running the HP-UX 64 bit operating system, deployed to primary and secondary sites to achieve a two-hour recovery time in the event of a failure or 'disaster'. All servers use storage area networks provided by two resilient XP1024 storage arrays with over 15 Terabytes of storage.
The GPMS network consists of resilient technology from CISCO, Nokia and F5. Two Gigabit connections over a resilient DWDM network are used to connect each site.
