Andrew Richards’s Summary
13 years ago, when just young boys in elementary school, I met Joseph and Phillip Matarrese, and our dream was born -- we want to open a fully operational film studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ever since, we've been working toward that goal, from film schools in college, to making our own projects, purchasing and maintaining equipment, and now beginning to rent it out.
Along the way, I stumbled into 2 great jobs: working directly in the industry for a powerful music supervision company (who's supervisors and other departments are in high demand) as well as maintaining my position at USC with a more indirect industry connection.
While Distant Thunder Films is my longterm goal, I am very comfortable in the present with my diversification professionally.
