Andrew Ive has been the CEO/founder of three companies.
The first - X-IT Products was named one of United States ‘Top 10 Start-ups in 1999’ by a top Entrepreneurial magazine. X-IT also won a ‘Business Week’ product design award for its first product sold through the retail channel. Andrew started this business through angel investments.
Andrew's second company was focused on data management company in Silicon Valley. Andrew raised over $20M of Venture Capital funding from investors in Silicon Valley and the East Coast. He is up-to-speed on the necessary steps, tools and negotiations for a successful Venture Capital Sand Hill Road 'Roadshow'.
While CEO, Andrew worked with the investor and venture capital community; negotiated partnerships and establishing customer relationships.
Andrew has advised the UK Government on entrepreneurial matters as a member of the Board of the Small Business Council (Department of Trade & Industry). He was particularly focused on Small Business Investment Readiness; Businesses in Difficulty; and was active on the Small Business Investment Taskforce; and is at the formative stages of developing his third company in the media space focused on helping Entrepreneurs start and build their own businesses.
Andrew has advised and supported a number of entrepreneurs at the early stages such as Blazent Founders (real time IT intelligence); Zaplee; Tablexchange & PocketThis.
He is interested helping entrepreneurs and early stage companies.
