Current Focus: Being a sort of Management Consultant for the Web within Vanguard (and the occasional freelance client)
Experience: Designing digital interactions in one way or another since 1991. In the last 10 years, I've done User Experience Design work and consulting for Kimberly Clark, Wachovia, Remington,Trone Advertising, Sealy, Shaw, RF Micro Devices, Kenan-Flagler Business School, American Express, Breastcancer.org, and Vanguard.
I'm a co-founder of the Information Architecture Institute, and have written for Boxes & Arrows, UX Matters, and the ASIST Bulletin. I'm also highly involved in the IA and IxD communities, through mailing lists and social networking.
Recent speaking engagements have included the IA Summit, Adaptive Path's UX Week, and DigitalNow.
