Andrew Hayward’s Summary
I'm a full-time freelance video game journalist and critic based out of Chicago, and my work has been featured in a variety of publications, including top enthusiast outlets (Official Xbox Magazine, 1UP.com, GamePro, PlayStation: The Official Magazine, Nintendo Power, etc), mainstream publications (ESPN.com, MSN.com), and other specialty magazines and websites (What They Play, Mac|Life, etc).
Over the course of my career, I've had the great opportunity to cover numerous live events in places like London, Sweden, Vancouver, Montreal, Chicago, and all over California. Additionally, I've been able to interview a variety of compelling figures, from gaming luminaries like Peter Molyneux, David Jaffe, and Alex Evans to Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard.
I'm interested in finding new ways to advance my work, both in terms of quality and new opportunities to bring it to readers, as well as build new and improve existing relationships with industry contacts.
