Managing Director, Sterling & Currency Pty Ltd
Perth Area, Australia
After completing a business degree at Edith Cowan University, I travelled overseas for several years. A desire to use my Japanese language and marketing skills with Australian-made products saw me take a retail position with the Perth Mint in 1994. I was subsequently head-hunted by a leading Sydney-based rare coin dealer, Jaggard's. After several years, I took employment with another Sydney-based rare coin & banknote dealer, Monetarium. Prior to my return to Perth in August of 2006, I had become a director of Monetarium, and during my employment there authored two books on Australian numismatics - "The Coinage of Colonial Australia" (published in association with the Powerhouse Museum), and "Australia's Sovereigns" (published by the Perth Mint). I specialize in dealing in Australian rare coins & banknotes dating from settlement to the present day.
I am committed to building a company that is at the forefront of the Australian numismatic market, one that is highly respected by vendors, clients and peers alike. I am also committed to contributing further to published Australian numismatic history.
