Luca Andreucci’s Summary

After a career stretching over fifteen years in the ICT industry, spanning several roles as system administrator, developer and infrastructure expert — with emphasis on ICT Security — I have developed the right expertise, great flexibility and the perfect know‑how to face the various challenges each ICT field poses.

I started as a system administrator with a strong focus on Unix systems and Internet infrastructure. I also did stints as a software designer on projects that could take advantage of my skills in internetworking and system integration. I then shifted my focus to network security and business continuity issues, gaining solid experience and technical worthiness.

Periods as an entrepreneur and being self‑employed have forged my propensity for goal‑oriented work and my prowess in managing projects of all sizes. I have learnt to defy challenges by splitting up problems into smaller, more manageable units. This allows me to keep in perspective and delegate with confidence. Alongside with a natural disposition to communication, a cheerful but firm character and trustworthiness, this gives me an excellent aptitude for leading roles.

Last but not least, my career is founded on my own personal values: loyalty, trustworthiness and sharing knowledge. That’s why I am well‑versed in Free Software/Open Source Software philosophy and a long‑standing active member of several communities.
