Andre Tan is the Lead Web Architect at ResearchChannel and UWTV (University of Washington Television) where he oversees development and day-to-day operations of both organizations' web properties. Andre led the launches of ResearchChannel's popular content partner presences on Apple's iTunes U and YouTube, and is the principal architect of Research1, an online community (currently in limited beta) that allows researchers and scholars to easily create a turnkey rich-media web presence to share their work with the public and their peers.
Prior to coming to the University of Washington in 2003, he served as the Creative Director of NetOrigin. Andre holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California and a BFA in Computer Graphics from Syracuse University.
