Assistant Professor of Contemporary East European History
Nürnberg Area, Germany
I study the post-Soviet extreme right at the Eichstaett Institute for Central and East European Studies (ZIMOS) in Upper Bavaria, focusing on current Russian political and intellectual history.
Most of my publications are available here: http://ku-eichstaett.academia.edu/AndreasUmland/Papers and http://digg.com/users/Umland/history/submissions/ . My books are listed here: http://ku-eichstaett.academia.edu/AndreasUmland/Books .
I would be glad to hear from people with similar research interests, and from those wanting to publish their dissertations, monographs, edited volumes or document collections in the book series "Soviet and Post-Soviet Politics and Society" where 85 volumes were published in 2004-2008 (www.ibidem-verlag.de/spps.html ).
ZIMOS's web journal "Forum noveishei vostochnoevropeiskoi istorii i kul'tury" (www1.ku-eichstaett.de/ZIMOS/forumruss.html ) invites Russian-language scholarly papers in the fields of contemporary East European history, post-Soviet politics, and Eurasian cultural studies.
