Multilingual Internet business specialist. Currently working for the Spanish Internet start-up Goa Internet Services S.L. as Country Manager/ Product Director, managing product, traffic and monetization strategy of a vertical search engine for real estate listings in Spain, Germany, UK, Italy, Mexico, Chile, Brasil and Argentina.
What I love about working for a start-up is the thrill of making something grow from the start, being able to have a real impact as well as the flexibility to react quickly on market changes and new strategic insight. On the other hand, having worked for bigger companies, getting used to working with fewer resources is a challenge too. But as always, whether in a big, medium size or small company, what's makes it easy getting up in the morning and sometimes staying late in the evening is a great team.
Latest projects in nuroa have been the overhaul of the whole internal site structure, development of internal SEO management tools for traffic analysis, opportunity research and internal link balancing, the specialization of the buy, rent, flatshare verticals for ES (http://www.nuroa.es/) and DE (http://www.nuroa.de/), the development of a proprietary featured ads/monetization system as well as the launch of the Mexican (http://www.nuroa.com.mx/), Italian (http://www.nuroa.it/) and Chile (http://www.nuroa.cl/) websites, with UK (http://www.nuroa.co.uk/), Brasil (http://www.nuroa.com.br/) and an Argentinian website coming soon.
Besides that, I am always interested to hear about other innovative and ambitious projects and products who want to make a difference, provide a new way of doing or experiencing things - not necessarily only Internet specific.
