Ah, the pleasures of moving across country again. This was a position I held both in WA and in NC. Focused on permanent positions that are strategic to the interaction between the Clients (Fortune 10 and 500 companies in the Pacific Northwest) and Denali's delivery teams.

I worked with their Microsoft Account team, and was impressed with their expeditiousness and professionalism. A highly reliable group of recruiters, who take care of their Associates. Left the team to relocate to NC.

Ascentium is a full service mid-market consulting company with Business Consulting, Creative and Marketing Services, and Technology Services. Located in Bellevue, Washington, just outside of Seattle. Microsoft is Ascentium's largest customer, but they also service a large number of customers in the Northwest. Their business niche is 'technology and marketing organizations in mid market companies and the departmental enterprise' . They work in web and application technology that helps companies take products and services to market. And they are really good at it

Owned the International positions called out by Microsoft to Volt (for testing and test developers with language or linguistics skills added to their computer technologies). I searched, contacted, screened, tested and submitted candidates, and helped coordinate their relocations if necessary. Helped Volt hold 89% of the market in this area, out of the positions called out to all agencies. I sustained a range of 80% or above for about six months.
Technologies: MS technologies: Software testers, software test developers, developers. Exchange, MSN channels, games, Plus!, Hotmail, Office.. I also recruited for the music codexes and sound related requirements. On the last year on this role I had strong focus on the Internationalization and Linguistics groups, which was a lot of fun.
(Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Wireless industry)
1999 — 2000 (1 year )
Thoroughly enjoyed this technical sales position. I was the only salesperson for this company in the Seattle individual and small company user market. The company is now World Wide Communications, it was at the time associated to Metricom, and targeted mobile laptop users who needed wireless communication. From this position, I took sales from $0 to $40,000 per month in four months. On Jan 99 I expanded into an extra location at the Seatac Airport which increased total sales by 30%. Aggressively established and promoted my office, building strong working relationships with Metricom and the other Ricochet resellers in the Seattle area, which targeted large business.
