Writer, Researcher & Project Coordinator
Greater New York City Area
I have been a professional writer for eight years. I began my writing career as a freelance writer, submitting articles to magazines and journals. I was then approached by Rab Swannock Fulton, a storyteller from Ireland, and asked to become his editor and to build him a website. I still work with Rab to this day - six years later. Since then, I have worked with many other writers on various writing projects.
My love of research began in 2005 when I was hired as an academic researcher. Since then I have worked with several people on research involving cancer research, networking, health informatics, technology and much more.
Towards the end of 2007, I combined my love of writing with my love of research and began working with nonprofit groups. As a work-from-home mom and seasoned freelancer, it made sense to become a virtual assistant in my chosen area; so I trained with Virtual Assistance U and received my CVA in October 2008. Since then I have worked with clients from around the globe on nonprofit and for-profit projects.
