I work closely with coaches on their marketing tactics and strategy, developing and determining their niches, social media networking and marketing, marketing copy writing, and e-book content.

As the first Marketing Coordinator for Southwestern Publishing, I collected, edited, proofread and managed the online marketing content for half a million dollars worth of business textbooks. I was part of tightly knit team, which included marketing managers, acquisition editors, production editors, and developmental editors.

June 1999 — October 1999 (5 months)
I managed the Wizeup relationship with all Thomson Higher Education publishers, in particular Southwestern and Wadsworth Publishing. I also presented Wizeup Digital Editions at Thomson National Sales Meeting to Thomson Sales Representatives.
Within two months, I obtained all of the source files associated with a total of 35 South-Western textbooks from various archive and production companies by working closely with SWCP Vice President of Production. For each textbook, I completed all paperwork and gathered all sales and marketing information.

I wrote, designed and managed the production process for all marketing and technical materials including user manuals, company newsletters, sales and training presentations. For three years, I was managed the beta testing program, working closely with top customers as the liaison between engineering and customer product testing sites.
I also managed an outside consultant in the development of an advertising proposal featuring a new telecommunications product. The proposal successfully converted a sales lead into a significant new customer.
I Initiated and implemented the customer site product testing (beta) program. During that time, I reduced problem resolution turnaround time from four days to one day by establishing a written agreement, redirecting communications, keeping detailed records, and requiring weekly reports.

Completed additional courses in Economics, Introduction to LAN, Database theory and design, and programming at the University of Cincinnati in 1999.

"Advertising" based on the simplest interpretation, is presenting information in someone else's framework. This degree, along with my experience as a songwriter, gave me the tools, knowledge and foundation to present your business according to the needs of your potential buyer.

The first three years of my degree were earned at Regis College (now Regis University), an excellent liberal arts institution. At Regis I gained excellent writing skills, due to the small class size and 10 page papers required for almost every course.
